Senior Solutions Architect (Microsoft Azure)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Solutions Architect with expertise in Microsoft Azure and a strong background in modernization projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing innovative cloud solutions that meet our clients' business needs. This role requires deep technical knowledge of Azure, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect Azure-based solutions to meet business requirements, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security
• Lead modernization projects, migrating legacy systems to the Azure platform.
• Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, design documents, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct architectural reviews and ensure compliance with best practices and standards.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure features and advancements, and assess their potential impact on current and future projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure infrastructure and services.
• Mentor and coach junior architects and other technical team members.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on Azure solutions and modernization strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Extensive experience (5+ years) in solutions architecture, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience in modernization projects, including migrating legacy systems to the cloud.
• Strong understanding of Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security.
• Proficiency in designing scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Azure Solutions Architect certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) is highly desirable.
• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
