We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to support ServiceNow projects. You will play a key role in shaping intuitive, user-friendly workflows within ServiceNow implementations, while contributing to the evolution of a consistent design system across projects. As a UI/UX Designer, your main responsibility will be to craft digital experiences that are easily accessible to everyone, from citizens to employees.

Experience with ServiceNow or similar SaaS platforms is not required but is a plus. Strong UX fundamentals, adaptability, and collaboration skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in planning and facilitating discovery activities such as surveys, user interviews, workshops, and usability testing.
  • Work with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to analyse research findings, translate insights into user personas, journey maps, user flows, wireframes, and prototype concepts for testing with real users.
  • Create ServiceNow interfaces using Figma, while balancing user and business needs with ServiceNow capabilities and limitations.
  • Drive iterative improvements to designs based on feedback from users and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals by collaborating with developers and product teams.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a design system which ensures that ServiceNow projects follow consistent UI patterns.
  • Ensure designs are compliant with regulations, accessibility, and privacy requirements.
  • Collaborate with fellow designers to maintain quality standards and advocate for design best practices.

Requirements

  • A strong portfolio that showcases the UX design process and shipped products.
  • Proficiency in user-centred design (UCD) principles and methodologies, including user research, persona creation, user flows, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
  • Experience supporting UI component libraries, extending them, or maintaining them.
  • Experienced in designing and prototyping in Figma or similar tools.
  • Ability to communicate design rationale clearly to cross-functional teams and senior business stakeholders.
  • Experience designing for initiatives, citizen engagement platforms, or public service delivery systems is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in UI/UX or interaction design.
