G04 - Senior UX Designer

As a Senior UX Designer, you'll lead the design strategy and execution of complex user experiences while mentoring junior designers. Your comprehensive expertise will shape our design direction, influence product strategy, and establish best practices. 

Core responsibilities include:

• Lead user research initiatives and stakeholder engagement to shape product direction
• Define and implement research methodologies to uncover deep user insights
• Create and validate high-impact design solutions through prototypes and testing
• Establish and evolve our visual design system and standards
• Lead design reviews and provide strategic direction for improvements
• Partner with engineering leads to optimise design implementation
• Develop and govern design patterns and systems while mentoring team members

What you will be working on

• You will take a leadership role in designing ePlanner, our sophisticated web-based geospatial platform. 
• You'll drive the strategic vision for user experience across the platform, optimising complex urban planning workflows spanning domains including land use, mobility, amenities, and infrastructure.

What we are looking for

• Minimum 7 years of experience in UX design with an outstanding portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and complex problem-solving
• Deep expertise in design systems and pattern libraries
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior designers
• Advanced stakeholder management and communication abilities
• Expert mastery of design tools including Figma and prototyping platforms
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and technical constraints
• Track record of driving user-centred design initiatives
• Experience in leading design strategies for complex systems
• Scrum certification and experience in agile environments preferred
