Head of Technology & Innovation (Managed Services) (Singapore/Malaysia)

Role Overview

The Head of Technology & Innovation will drive the development and management of the IT operations platform and tooling within the Managed Services COE. This role focuses on leveraging cutting-edge technologies, including automation, AIOps, observability, monitoring, and cybersecurity, to deliver operational excellence. The position is pivotal in fostering a culture of innovation, evaluating emerging technologies, and implementing solutions that enhance IT services and align with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

IT Operations Platform Development & Management

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of the IT operations platform, ensuring it meets performance, scalability, and security requirements.
• Develop and manage observability and monitoring frameworks to ensure real-time visibility into IT systems and applications.
• Introduce AIOps capabilities for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and intelligent decision-making in IT processes.
• Promote the use of machine learning and AI to enhance incident management, root cause analysis, and service optimization.
• Oversee the adoption and integration of advanced tools and technologies, including automation frameworks, AIOps platforms, and observability solutions.
• Develop a roadmap for platform enhancements, aligning with organizational needs and technological advancements.
• Establish KPIs and metrics to measure system performance and proactively identify potential issues.
• Implement tools and processes to provide actionable insights, enabling faster issue resolution and enhanced user experiences.
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure the IT operations platform adheres to security standards and protocols.
• Integrate cybersecurity tools and practices into operational platforms, addressing vulnerabilities and threats proactively.

Innovation & Emerging Technology Evaluation

• Continuously monitor emerging technologies and assess their relevance to the organization.
• Lead the evaluation, pilot testing, and adoption of innovative solutions that enhance IT operations.
• Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging teams to explore new ideas and technologies.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Build and lead a high-performing team focused on technology innovation and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and platforms.

Key Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT operations, technology innovation, or a related leadership role.
• Strong background in automation, AIOps, observability, monitoring, and cybersecurity technologies.
• Proven track record of driving technological transformation and innovation in complex environments.
