Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salesforce DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role encompasses full lifecycle ownership from design and development through to deployment, operations, and continuous support, ensuring platform reliability, performance, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Salesforce platforms with hands-on experience across SDLC and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable and robust solutions leveraging Salesforce platforms.
- Develop and customize modules, including Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and CPQ.
- Incorporate operational and security considerations into design to ensure resilience and maintainability.
- Apply automation-first principles across build, deploy, and monitoring processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine business requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and actionable plans.
- Lead and perform development and configuration efforts for Salesforce modules, including CPQ, Order Management, Pricing Services, Deal Management, and Contract Management.
- Enhance workflows for order orchestration and frame agreement processes.
- Ensure seamless integration with external systems and platforms, including Heroku and MuleSoft.
- Partner with infrastructure and operations teams to implement observability (logging, metrics, and alerts).
- Optimize performance, scalability, and usability across modules and integrations.
- Ensure operational readiness and scalability through performance testing and automated monitoring dashboards.
- Own CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments, ensuring traceability, version control, and rollback strategies.
- Maintain build and release automation using tools like Flosum, GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines, or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with operations teams to manage deployment environments and release governance.
- Perform rigorous testing and debugging to ensure solution reliability.
Operations & Support
- Oversee application monitoring, incident management, and service performance of Salesforce platforms.
- Collaborate with IT operations and service management teams to ensure SLA compliance and minimize downtime.
- Lead root cause analysis for recurring issues and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Participate in on-call or escalation rotations where applicable.
- Maintain operational runbooks, knowledge base, and incident playbooks for production and support teams.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Provide training and technical support to internal and external teams.
- Provide post-deployment support and root cause analysis for incidents.
Requirements
- Experience in working with business iusers , telco experince
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce development tools and frameworks, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Proven experience in configuring and developing Salesforce modules like CQP, Order Management, Pricing Services, and Product Definition. Experience in CloudSense is advantage.
- Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Flosum, Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT) will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with application monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, Datadog, Splunk, Salesforce Health Check) will be an advantage.
- In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end DevOps lifecycle, including environment management, continuous integration, automated testing, release management, and observability.
- Proven track record of improving deployment reliability and reducing change failure rates.
- Strong experience with integration tools and platforms such as MuleSoft, Heroku, and third-party APIs.
- Ability to design and implement custom integrations to enhance system interoperability.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on creating efficient, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
- Experience optimizing workflows and addressing system bottlenecks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Proven ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams including developers, QA, release managers, and support operations.
- Comfortable working in a DevSecOps or agile product delivery model.
- Experience with Telecomunication CRM .
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development and CloudSense implementation.
- Salesforce and/or CloudSense certifications are highly preferred.
- Certification in DevOps (e.g., Salesforce DevOps Center, Copado, or general CI/CD tooling) is a plus.
- ITIL Foundation or equivalent knowledge of IT service management is an advantage.
- Experience with Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
