Platform Tech Ops Engineer

As a Platform Tech Ops Engineer, you will maintain the reliability of our web applications and cloud infrastructure. You will bridge the gap between initial incident triage and deep-level engineering, using automation to streamline troubleshooting and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Incident Management: Triage incoming tickets and provide L2 support for web applications and infrastructure.

• Automation: Develop and execute Python/Shell scripts, especially Pandas, Polars to automate testing, troubleshooting, and repetitive tasks.

• System Health: Monitor platform performance and resolve issues across the full stack.

• Knowledge Management: Write and maintain technical guidelines to standardize team processes.

Requirements

• Cloud & Orchestration: Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• CI/CD & DevOps: Proficiency in GitLab pipelines, deployment processes, and GitLab webhook integrations.

• Monitoring & Caching: Experience with Elasticsearch/Logging, CDN, Redis, AWS S3.

• Web Frameworks: Strong understanding of Next.js rendering patterns (SSG, ISR, SSR, CSR) and memory profiling.

• Data & Tools: Experience with at least one database. Prefer SQLite, DuckDB or PostgreSQL, Jira/Confluence, and Agile (Kanban) methodologies.
