FPT Software is seeking an accomplished and results-driven business development leader to drive growth across our Banking & Financial Services (BFS) business in Singapore and the broader APAC region.

This role is responsible for developing and executing growth strategies, expanding strategic client relationships, and driving large-scale digital transformation opportunities across Banking & Financial Services (BFS)

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of generating new business, managing strategic accounts, and closing complex technology and transformation deals. This individual will play a key role in accelerating FPT's growth within the Banking & Financial Services sector and strengthening our position as a trusted transformation partner across APAC.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute the Banking & Financial Services business development strategy across Singapore and APAC.
  • Drive revenue growth through new logo acquisition, strategic account expansion, and large transformation opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities to achieve business growth targets.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities, industry trends, and client transformation initiatives that align with FPT's capabilities.

Strategic Client Management

  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers across Banking & Financial Services organizations.
  • Engage with CIOs, CTOs, COOs, Chief Digital Officers, Heads of Technology, and business leaders to understand strategic priorities and transformation agendas.
  • Position FPT as a strategic technology and transformation partner.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to increase wallet share and expand client relationships.

Large Deal Pursuit & Sales Leadership

  • Lead the identification, qualification, shaping, and closure of large-scale transformation opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle including account strategy, opportunity development, solution positioning, proposal management, commercial negotiations, and contract closure.
  • Collaborate with consulting, architecture, delivery, and executive leadership teams to develop compelling and differentiated client solutions.
  • Lead executive-level deal governance and stakeholder management throughout the pursuit lifecycle.

Market Development

  • Expand FPT's footprint within the Banking & Financial Services sector across APAC.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities, competitive threats, and emerging industry trends.
  • Representing FPT at industry conferences, executive forums, client events, and networking engagements.
  • Build market awareness and strengthen FPT's brand presence within the Banking & Financial Services community.

Strategic Partnerships

  • Develop relationships with technology partners, cloud providers, alliance partners, and ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue partnership-led business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen FPT's value proposition and go-to-market approach.

Business Planning & Governance

  • Develop annual business plans, account strategies, revenue forecasts, and pipeline plans.
  • Monitor business performance against revenue and growth objectives.
  • Maintain forecasting accuracy and provide regular business updates to executive leadership.
  • Ensure effective governance across strategic pursuits and key client engagements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Business Development within Banking & Financial Services.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing annual business portfolios exceeding USD 100M.
  • Demonstrated success in closing large-scale transformation programs with Total Contract Value (TCV) exceeding USD 50M.
  • Strong executive network across Banking & Financial Services clients across Singapore and APAC.
  • Experience selling consulting, digital transformation, cloud, cybersecurity, data & AI, application modernization, managed services, and technology transformation solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Banking & Financial Services operating models, regulatory environments, and digital transformation priorities.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence C-suite stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in revenue planning, forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic account development.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex, multi-country, and multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
  • Experience working within leading consulting, technology services, or global system integration organizations.
