About the job M15 - Project Manager
Overview
- As a Senior Project Manager, you will be a key member of the project team, comprising the Project Managers, Product/Programme Managers, Product Operations, Software Engineers, Data Engineers, Designers, and Infrastructure Engineers to deliver ICT capabilities.
- You will work with outsourced/co-sourced/insourced development teams to ensure delivery of defined digital solutions driven, where you will be based.
- You will advise stakeholders on best practices in use of digital technologies, and work with stakeholder in deploying the digital solutions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track multiple projects across the various teams, ensuring efficient progress and timely completion.
- Coordinate procurement related activities such as contract renewals, licenses
- Coordinate system security audits and vulnerability assessments preparations and completion.
- Facilitate collaboration between the development and technology team, ensuring effective communication and alignment of goals.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, statuses, and reports, serving as the primary source of project information for the teams.
- Organise and lead regular cadence meetings to keep senior leadership updated on project progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Identify and help overcome blockers in project execution, proactively proposing solutions and facilitating decision-making processes.
- Implement and manage project management tools and processes to enhance team efficiency and transparency.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively liaise between technical and non-technical team members.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with a focus on tracking and managing short-term projects.
- Experience in facilitating collaboration between diverse teams, particularly business development and technology teams.
- Ability to quickly understand and summarise complex technical concepts for reporting purposes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project blockers.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and their business implications is a plus.
- Adaptability and comfort with working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
