Insurance CoE / Practice Lead

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Insurance CoE / Practice Lead to build, lead, and scale our Insurance Practice across APAC. This role will drive domain-led consulting, digital transformation initiatives, and strategic growth within Life, General, and P&C Insurance sectors. The ideal candidate brings deep insurance domain expertise, strong transformation experience, and the ability to bridge business and technology to deliver measurable value to clients.

Responsibilities

1. Practice Strategy and leadership

• Define and execute the Insurance Practice strategy aligned with FPTs APAC growth plans.
• Build and scale the Insurance Center of Excellence (CoE) across consulting and delivery.
• Develop industry-specific accelerators, reusable frameworks, and solution offerings.
• Establish governance, best practices, and quality standards for insurance engagements.

2. Client Advisory

• Partner with Sales to drive new business opportunities and expand existing insurance accounts.
• Lead solutioning for RFPs/RFIs, client workshops, and executive presentations.
• Act as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders (CIO, CTO, COO, Head of Claims, etc.).
• Shape digital transformation roadmaps covering core modernization, automation, and customer experience.

3. Program and Delivery Oversight

• Provide executive oversight on large-scale insurance transformation programs.
• Ensure successful delivery across quality, budget, timelines, and risk management.
• Mentor Program Managers, Architects, and Domain Leads.
• Serve as escalation point for strategic accounts.

4. Industry and Technology Leadership

Drive transformation initiatives across:

• Core Policy Administration Systems
• Claims & Underwriting Platforms
• Digital Distribution & Agency Systems
• Customer 360 / CRM
• Data, Analytics & AI in Insurance
• Cloud & Platform Modernization

Requirements:

• 12–18 years of experience in the Insurance industry (Life, General, or P&C).
• Proven experience leading an Insurance Practice, CoE, or domain vertical.
• Strong background in digital transformation and core system modernization.
• Deep understanding of insurance operations (Policy, Claims, Underwriting, Distribution).
• Experience with leading insurance platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience working across APAC markets preferred.
• Experienced of cloud platforms (AWS, eBao, InsureMo, Azure, GCP).
• Exposure to AI/GenAI use cases in Insurance.
• MBA or relevant Insurance certifications (LOMA, ACII, etc.).
