GIF - Software Developer (.NET)

Responsibilities

• Assist in defining and maintaining development patterns and standards.
• Develop and support applications using C# and .NET.
• Contribute to various development projects across different business areas as needed.
• Support business-as-usual activities and project deadlines, including occasional out-of-hours work when required.

What Were Looking For

• 2 - 4 years of relevant hands-on experience in .NET development.
• Proven expertise in C# and .NET development, with knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Essential Technologies

• C# & .NET
• Microsoft Azure (or equivalent experience with AWS/GCP)
• SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MS SQL, Azure CosmosDB)
• SOLID principles
• Test-driven development
• Test frameworks (xUnit / nSubstitute)

Desirable

• CI/CD pipelines
• REST APIs
• Terraform
• Performance testing (k6)
• ORMs (Entity Framework)
