M03 - Frontend Engineer

Overview
The Frontend Software Engineer supports the CX team in designing, building, testing, and maintaining responsive customer-facing interfaces and user flows. The role focuses on usability, accessibility, frontend quality, performance, secure API consumption, and the delivery of seamless digital journeys.

• Build responsive, accessible, and maintainable customer-facing interfaces using React, TypeScript or JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Implement reusable UI components, frontend service interactions, validation, state management, and error handling.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, authentication flows, and secure API consumption patterns.
• Optimise page performance, mobile usability, browser compatibility, accessibility, and customer journey quality.
• Develop frontend tests including unit, component, end-to-end, and regression tests.

Preferred Skills
Strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript or JavaScript, HTML, CSS, reusable component design, responsive interfaces, browser compatibility, accessibility, usability, design-system adoption, frontend testing, and secure API consumption. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control, code review practices, cloud or container-based deployment, monitoring tools, secure development practices, and Agile delivery is preferred.
