Overview 

We are looking for a Software Engineer to support the development and delivery of enterprise case management and customer relationship management solutions for public sector use cases.

You will be responsible for hands-on software development, troubleshooting production issues, application deployment, and participating in technical discussions and code reviews. You will work closely with the Technical Lead and cross-functional team members to ensure solutions are delivered on time and with good quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications.
  • Work on assigned technical tasks and deliver features according to project requirements.
  • Develop responsive and robust user interfaces using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application and production issues.
  • Support application deployment and ongoing maintenance activities.
  • Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and solution design.
  • Implement unit and integration testing to maintain application quality.
  • Work closely with Technical Leads, designers, delivery managers, and other team members.
  • Contribute to CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud deployment activities where required.

Requirements

  • Experience in full-stack web application development using modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably TypeScript.
  • Strong hands-on experience with (Frontend: React) (Backend: Node.js with frameworks such as Express or Koa)
  • Experience developing applications from frontend through to backend API implementation.
  • Good understanding of relational and/or non-relational databases.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical changes and work effectively within a team.

Advantageous Skills

Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:

  • Tailwind CSS for responsive UI development
  • Redis or other caching technologies
  • Unit and integration testing
  • ORMs such as Sequelize or TypeORM
  • Infrastructure-as-Code on AWS or equivalent cloud platforms
  • Docker/container image creation and deployment
  • CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance
  • Mobile application development using React Native, other hybrid frameworks, or native technologies
