About the job AI Transformation Strategist
The AI Transformation Strategist is a customer-facing, business-oriented role responsible for driving AI-first transformation and AI services adoption across FPT Software's overseas markets. This role works closely with enterprise customers to shape AI strategies, influence decision-makers, and convert business opportunities into AI-driven solutions and revenue.
Responsibilities
- Define a clear, outcome-driven AI strategy that shows how AI transforms business models, operations, decision-making, and competitive advantage—not just isolated functions or technologies. This includes identifying priority value pools, setting transformation objectives and AI boundaries, shaping business models beyond T&M, developing business cases and execution plans, co-owning deal conversion, scaling winning playbooks, and aligning with overall business strategy and long-term goals.
- Design and lead end-to-end AI transformation roadmaps that turn strategy into sequenced, executable initiatives across pilots, scale-up, and institutionalization. Ensure priorities reflect value, readiness, risk, and dependencies, and that transformation advances coherently across business units, platforms, and capabilities.
- Own the definition, measurement, and governance of AI-enabled value realization to ensure AI investments deliver tangible outcomes such as productivity, margin improvement, growth, resilience, and customer impact. Define outcome-based metrics, track value over time, intervene when initiatives underperform, and ensure readiness for AI business case approval.
- Guide transformation of the enterprise operating model to embed AI into daily execution, including processes, decision rights, governance, workforce models, and performance management. Ensure AI changes how work is done rather than simply overlaying existing ways of working.
- Align executive leaders, business owners, technology leaders, and key stakeholders around a shared AI transformation vision, priorities, and outcomes. Facilitate executive decisions, resolve conflicts, secure sponsorship and funding, and sustain commitment through multi-year transformation efforts.
- Establish and steward enterprise-level AI governance, including responsible AI principles, risk posture, ethical guidelines, decision accountability, and value governance. Ensure governance supports scalable, responsible adoption while maintaining trust, compliance, and accountability.

- Ability to define and evolve AI‑driven enterprise and business transformation strategy that reshapes business models, value chains, and competitive positioning. Applies AI‑driven insights, market intelligence, and strategic foresight to anticipate industry disruption and guide long‑term transformation priorities beyond short‑term technology adoption.
- Expertise in designing end‑to‑end AI transformation roadmaps and orchestrating AI initiatives as a coherent transformation portfolio. Owns outcome‑based value realization by translating AI investments into measurable business outcomes (productivity, margin, growth, resilience) and governing them at executive and board level.
- Ability to guide enterprise operating model change by embedding AI into processes, decision structures, workforce models, and performance management. Core delivery model, SDLC + IT services define how org operates. Leads organization‑wide AI adoption, capability uplift, and change management to move AI from experimentation into industrialized, repeatable, and sustainable operations, including human + AI workforce transformation.
- Strategic mastery of enterprise AI, data, and AI‑driven platform landscapes, sufficient to guide platform choices and trade‑offs based on scalability, sustainability, and governance. Defines and institutionalizes Responsible AI strategy, including ethical principles, accountability models, risk posture, and regulatory alignment as an integral part of AI transformation.
- Strong capability to engage executives and boards with clear AI transformation narratives, enabling confident, AI‑augmented strategic decision‑making while retaining human accountability. Leads cross‑enterprise and partner ecosystems, positioning AI as an enterprise and ecosystem capability, and aligning leaders, funding, and momentum around transformation goals..
Market Capabilities
AI Transformation Strategist is required to have some non-engineering skills or soft skills as below
- Engage executive stakeholders, enterprise customers, and senior technical leaders to understand strategic priorities, business challenges, and AI readiness.
- Lead executive discovery sessions, strategy workshops, and leadership discussions focused on AI enabled transformation and value creation.
- Position and advocate AI first concepts, services, and solutions aligned to customer context, industry dynamics, and maturity level.
- Partner closely with Account Management on commercial strategy and with Delivery Leadership on feasibility, scope, and execution alignment.
- Support strategic pre sales activities, including opportunity shaping, proposals, RFP responses, demonstrations, PoCs, and deal qualification.
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor, guiding customers from AI exploration to confident adoption of AI first operating and decision making models.
- Have strong commercial & deal shaping capability and shape AI-first deals (ROI, SLA, Pricing)"
- Maintain strong solution and enterprise architecture level understanding of AI, data, cloud, and digital platforms.
- Confidently advise customers on AI solution options, trade offs, risks, and architectural direction.
- Collaborate closely with AI engineers, architects, and delivery teams to shape and validate solution designs.
- Translate complex AI and technical concepts into decision oriented, business friendly narratives.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies, platforms, architectures, and industry trends, applying insights to customer advisory and solution shaping."
- Demonstrate strong understanding of industry specific challenges and opportunities in target markets.
- Apply commercial awareness to identify, shape, and expand AI business opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrate Bachelor's or higher in BA, BS, MSc, MBA or Ph.D through at least one of the following certifications or areas of expertise in
- AI Software Engineering
- AI Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- OR related field of Smart Devices"
- Demonstrate at least one certification directly or indirectly related to AI across various platforms.
- Cloud (AWS/Azure) and AI/Data certifications (Optional).
- AI Science or AI Engineering certifications (Optional).
- Data Science or Data Engineering certifications (Optional).
- NIST/CISA/CISSP certifications (or equivalent) (Optional).
