Role Overview

The Business Process Re-Engineering Consultant (BPC) is responsible for identifying the overall objectives of the Proof of Concept (POC) and aligning them with broader business needs for larger application development. Acting as a bridge between stakeholders and technology teams, the BPC ensures that business requirements are captured, clarified, and effectively translated into actionable solutions. This role is critical in supporting the drafting of legislation, facilitating communication, and ensuring that technology outputs meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyse data on existing system behaviours and process flows to support legislation drafting requirements.
  • Facilitate effective communication between agile teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on business objectives.
  • Define and document business requirements for drafters responsibilities and legislation drafting processes, translating these into actionable tasks for the technology team.
  • Support agile teams during development by clarifying requirements, addressing issues, and ensuring alignment with intended business outcomes.
  • Assist business users in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring that amendments of principal legislation and drafting instructions meet the agreed objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of holistic business solutions that extend beyond the POC and align with the organizations long-term digital strategy.

Requirements

  • 3 to 7 years experience as a Business Process Consultant, Business Analyst, or equivalent role.
  • Strong background in business process re-engineering, requirement gathering, and solution scoping.
  • Proven ability to bridge business and technology teams, with excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, supporting sprint planning, backlog refinement, and requirement clarification.
  • Familiarity with legislation drafting processes or complex regulatory environments (preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
