Tech Lead (Techno-Functional)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Techno-Functional Tech Lead with strong experience in Finastra banking applications to lead delivery, solution design, and implementation across banking projects. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and domain understanding, with hands-on leadership across development, customization, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and implementation of Finastra solutions
• Act as the primary techno-functional expert, bridging business requirements and technical delivery
• Provide solution architecture and technical leadership for Finastra applications (e.g., Fusion, Equation, Midas, or similar)
• Work with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications
• Lead and mentor development teams, ensuring adherence to coding, integration, and deployment standards
• Support system integration, customization, and enhancements within the Finastra ecosystem
• Oversee incident resolution, root cause analysis, and production support
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security, and performance standards

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in banking technology delivery
• Strong hands-on experience with Finastra applications (Fusion Banking / Equation / Midas / Trade / Payments)
• Proven experience in a Tech Lead or senior technical role
• Solid understanding of banking domain (Core Banking, Payments, Lending, Trade Finance, etc.)
• Experience in system integration, APIs, and middleware
• Strong techno-functional capability (requirements analysis, solutioning, and development)
• Proficiency in relevant technologies (e.g., Java, Unix, SQL, scripting, depending on platform)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in managed services or large-scale banking transformations
• Exposure to cloud, DevOps, or modern integration frameworks
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience
