Overview
A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced nursing leader to oversee Quality, Risk Management, and Regulatory Compliance functions. This role plays a critical part in advancing patient safety initiatives, improving clinical outcomes, and ensuring adherence to accreditation and regulatory standards.
This is a weekday leadership position operating during standard business hours.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Quality Improvement, Risk Management, and Medical Staff Office functions
  • Serve as the Patient Safety Officer and oversee compliance and ethics programs
  • Ensure organization-wide adherence to federal and state healthcare regulations
  • Collaborate with leadership and clinical teams to drive performance improvement initiatives
  • Monitor and improve patient outcomes through data-driven strategies
  • Oversee accreditation readiness and act as liaison with regulatory agencies (e.g., CMS, Joint Commission)
  • Conduct investigations related to compliance concerns and ensure corrective actions
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and transparency across clinical teams
  • Support implementation of organizational goals related to quality and patient experience

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Minimum of 5 years of RN experience in an acute care setting
  • Prior experience in quality, risk management, or patient safety

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting
  • Experience with regulatory surveys and accreditation processes
  • CPHRM and/or CPPS certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 years)
  • Strong background in performance improvement and data analysis
