COMPENSATION: $250,000 Base + Performance Bonus

ROLE OVERVIEW

Join a market-leading global platform as a Director within our Corporate Banking Insurance team. This is a high-visibility, "blended" leadership role that demands expertise in both Portfolio Management and Relationship Management. You will bridge the gap between complex credit underwriting and direct client origination, supporting a wide spectrum of insurance clients (Life, Non-Life, and Distribution) across North American, Caribbean, and European markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Origination & Relationship Management: Cultivate and expand a portfolio of insurance sector clients. Lead the creation and delivery of high-impact pitch books and financial solutions.

Credit & Risk Adjudication: Oversee the end-to-end credit due diligence process. Structure and negotiate complex corporate lending transactions, ensuring a balance between the Bank's risk appetite and client needs.

Portfolio Oversight: Directly manage a diverse portfolio of lending exposure. Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and financial models to proactively manage risk and identify business needs.

Cross-Product Collaboration: Partner with wider Capital Markets coverage teams to drive cross-selling opportunities in Trade Finance, Cash Management, and Trading transactions.

Leadership & Influence: Act as a key deal team member, guiding the work of junior team members to ensure technical and financial reports meet the highest standards of accuracy and insight.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: Minimum of 10 years in Corporate Banking, specifically focused on the Insurance sector. A proven track record of successfully negotiating and structuring lending transactions.

Education: Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting (High academic achievement required).

Advanced Credentials: MBA, CFA, or equivalent experience in financial services, accounting, or legal fields is highly preferred.

Technical Mastery: In-depth knowledge of lending policies, portfolio management, and financial solution products. Expert-level analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling/database management.

Communication & Influence: Expert verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence key decision-makers and manage complex, non-routine problems.
