Position Overview

Our Partner Bryant Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to join a dynamic, community-focused financial institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for originating, developing, and managing a diverse portfolio of commercial loans while building long-term relationships with clients and business partners. This individual will play a key role in expanding the organization's presence in the market and ensuring exceptional service throughout all phases of the lending process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, develop, and manage new and existing commercial lending relationships.
  • Solicit loan applications, analyze creditworthiness, and ensure thorough and compliant documentation.
  • Serve as the primary contact for commercial clients throughout the loan process, ensuring timely communication and efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of commercial products, credit policies, and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate loan processing and servicing.
  • Cross-sell complementary financial services to existing and prospective clients.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and manage risk through ongoing analysis and proactive client engagement.
  • Represent the organization in community and business events to promote brand visibility and generate referral opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in commercial or business lending and servicing within a financial institution.
  • Proven success in a sales-driven financial services environment with a focus on portfolio growth and client satisfaction.
  • Strong understanding of commercial products, lending regulations, and financial analysis.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships and community connections.
  • Must possess or be able to develop an existing commercial loan portfolio.
