On-site Compensation: $76,000 – $97,000 / year
Annual Bonus (Target 10%, up to 20%)

The Opportunity
Are you an Electrical Engineer who loves solving complex problems on the plant floor? We are looking for a self-motivated professional to join our team in Trenton, SC. In this role, you will apply research and design to the planning, development, and testing of electrical equipment and systems. You will be a key player in our continuous improvement and automation activities, ensuring our facility operates at peak efficiency through advanced control systems and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Systems Design & Development: Apply engineering principles to the planning and testing of electrical components, facilities, and products for industrial use.
- PLC & Automation Mastery: Program, troubleshoot, and optimize Allen-Bradley PLCs, remote I/O, and HMIs using Rockwell software.
- Network Infrastructure: Design and maintain industrial Ethernet communications and machine network layouts.
- Project & Budget Management: Manage capital and expense budgets to meet plant objectives, ensuring projects stay on track and within financial scope.
- Continuous Improvement: Support automation initiatives and provide general support for medium-voltage systems and machine control systems (including Servos).
- Collaboration: Receive general instructions from senior professionals while working independently on electrical problems of moderate scope.
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Technical Skills: * Proven proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLCs and the Rockwell software suite.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and programming industrial automation systems.
- Familiarity with Industrial Ethernet and machine networking.
- Attributes: Strong work ethic and a "self-starter" attitude.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves)
- Project Leadership: Experience managing external contractors and internal maintenance technicians.
- Advanced Controls: Ability to fully design, develop, and oversee complex electrical control systems.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong negotiation and communication skills for working with internal teams and external vendors.
