Commercial & Contracts Director
Job Description:
Our client is a prominent Real Estate company in KSA. They deliver superior solutions and services that satisfy the various needs of their clients in a diverse range of industries. They are looking for a Commercial & Contracts Director who will be responsible for managing and coordinating all contractual, commercial, and procurement activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities:
- RFP and Tendering Process Management:
Oversee all Request for Proposal (RFP) and tendering processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with relevant policies and standards. - Vendor Selection & Management:
Oversee vendor selection processes, manage key technology vendors, and ensure delivery of agreed levels of service and quality. - Contract Design & Management:
Develop, review, and manage various agreements and contracts, ensuring clarity in obligations, rights, and rewards for all parties involved. - Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with all policies and legislation, identify commercial risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies. - Commercial Negotiations & Relationship Management:
Lead negotiations to achieve commercially advantageous terms and develop and maintain productive relationships with key partners and stakeholders. - Operational Excellence & Expenditure Management:
Control operational expenditure and uphold high service delivery standards, establishing best practice support models. - Performance Analysis & Optimization:
Conduct insightful analysis of supplier performance and optimize support costs and operational terms with vendors. - Dispute Resolution & Advisory Role:
Resolve contractual disputes effectively and advise project and operations teams on all commercial aspects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil or related field).
- 10+ years of relevant experience; at least 5 in construction.
- Arabic Speaker; Fluent in English.
- Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- FIDIC certificate or experience is a PLUS.
