Hard Services Manager

 Job Description:

Our client is a leading Facility Management Company in Qatar that specializes in providing customized facility solutions and services to a diverse range of industries. They are looking to hire a Hard Services Manager to lead, Develop and implement operational strategies which lead to Company growth.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent service and meet or exceed client expectations and contract objectives. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve and expand the scope of services. Make recommendations to clients and management as appropriate.
  • Monitor market trends and best practices. Provide insights and recommendations to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Manage department budgets in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
  • Continuously improve quality of service through innovations and implementation of best practices.
  • Track performance metrics, monitor budgets, and prepare monthly reports for clients and senior leadership.
  • Forecast budgets and expenses to ensure costs stay within approved levels.
  • Oversee facilities management and ensure contract obligations are met.
  • Consult with technical experts and senior leaders as needed to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Supervise staff and address personnel issues according to policies and procedures.
  • Complete required audits and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to staff to achieve business goals.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with projects using appropriate controls and monitoring.
  • Perform risk assessments and ensure staff are trained and compliant with requirements.
  • Create reports and presentations for various audiences including staff, committees, and executives.
  • Continuously improve facilities management services to deliver consistent high-quality outcomes.
  • Perform additional duties as required within the scope of the role.

Qualifications and competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
  • Certifications: BICS, IOSH, HACCP, BIFM certified
  • Quality Management System (ISO 9001)
  • Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001)
  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM, IFMA-USA)
  • Extensive knowledge of current trends within the healthcare industry
  • 15-18 years of progressive experience in overseeing, supervising, and managing facility operations and staff
