Hard Services Manager
Job Description:
Our client is a leading Facility Management Company in Qatar that specializes in providing customized facility solutions and services to a diverse range of industries. They are looking to hire a Hard Services Manager to lead, Develop and implement operational strategies which lead to Company growth.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide excellent service and meet or exceed client expectations and contract objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve and expand the scope of services. Make recommendations to clients and management as appropriate.
- Monitor market trends and best practices. Provide insights and recommendations to improve quality and efficiency.
- Manage department budgets in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
- Continuously improve quality of service through innovations and implementation of best practices.
- Track performance metrics, monitor budgets, and prepare monthly reports for clients and senior leadership.
- Forecast budgets and expenses to ensure costs stay within approved levels.
- Oversee facilities management and ensure contract obligations are met.
- Consult with technical experts and senior leaders as needed to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Supervise staff and address personnel issues according to policies and procedures.
- Complete required audits and ensure quality standards are met.
- Provide training and development opportunities to staff to achieve business goals.
- Identify and manage risks associated with projects using appropriate controls and monitoring.
- Perform risk assessments and ensure staff are trained and compliant with requirements.
- Create reports and presentations for various audiences including staff, committees, and executives.
- Continuously improve facilities management services to deliver consistent high-quality outcomes.
- Perform additional duties as required within the scope of the role.
Qualifications and competencies:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
- Certifications: BICS, IOSH, HACCP, BIFM certified
- Quality Management System (ISO 9001)
- Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001)
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM, IFMA-USA)
- Extensive knowledge of current trends within the healthcare industry
- 15-18 years of progressive experience in overseeing, supervising, and managing facility operations and staff
