Brand Manager

 Job Description:

Our client is a Food and Beverage manufacturer based in Saudi Arabia offering a range of food products. They are seeking to hire a Brand Manager for their offices in Riyadh

This individual will play a crucial role in implementing the brand strategy through meticulous planning and vigilant monitoring of marketing activities. The aim is to stimulate sales, foster market share expansion, and align with the overarching corporate strategy and ambition.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies to drive sales and share growth aligned with the overall corporate strategy.

2. Category Transformation and Stakeholder Management:

  • Transform assigned product categories through product attribute enhancement, capability strengthening, and effective stakeholder management.

3. Cross-Functional Project Leadership:

  • Lead cross-functional projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive initiatives in product attribute enhancement, flavor revamp, brand restage planning, marketing planning, and commercialization.

4. Financial Performance Monitoring:

  • Actively track the financial performance of the brand and highlight risks or gaps to the leadership.

5. Cost-Benefit Analysis and Budget Management:

  • Conduct robust cost-benefit analysis for each initiative to ensure overall economics are in line with organizational objectives and are not profit-dilutive. Proactively manage the brands budget to ensure sufficient campaign funding.

6. Insight Development and Performance Tracking:

  • Support in insight development, performance tracking, and identifying opportunities for growth of the portfolio.

7. Brand Planning and Communication:

  • Assist in the development and execution of the annual brand and communication plan to deliver brand targets.

8. Local Execution and Brand Guardian Role:

  • Translate local knowledge into engaging "uniquely Saudi" brand activations and act as a "guardian of the brand.

9. Agency Collaboration and Approval Process:

  • Work with agencies for product research, activations, sampling, and promotion plans. Lead the approval process with agencies, suppliers, and government authorities.

10. Category Best Practices and Channel-Specific Initiatives:

  • Monitor and report on industry/category best practices through competitor benchmarking. Develop and communicate channel-specific initiatives with GTM team and salesforce.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of proven experience in FMCG brand marketing experience.
  • Brand building and activations, including hands-on experience in new brand/sub-brand launches.
  • Creation and execution of comprehensive brand plans and granular marketing activity calendars.
  • Hands-on experience in digital marketing.
  • Management of below-the-line (BTL) activities such as pack design, PR, digital, and shopper.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to drive multiple projects through the business stage-gate process.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
