Senior Accounting Manager
Job Description:
Our client is a distinguished Retail & Distribution company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join its team in Riyadh.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Conduct thorough reviews of financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure completeness.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy of all financial transactions.
- Ensure timely processing of payroll and utility payments.
- Conduct revenue and expenditure variance analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Oversee capital assets reconciliation and fixed asset activities.
- Produce accurate and timely financial reports and statements for management review.
- Communicate financial results and analysis to key stakeholders.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits with external auditors.
- Ensure strict adherence to accounting methods, policies, and processes.
- Provide strategic financial recommendations to support business decision-making.
- Liaise with banks and related party accounts to strengthen financial partnerships.
KIPS:
- Accuracy of financial statements and reports.
- Timeliness of month-end and year-end processes.
- Timely payments and budget adherence.
- Effectiveness of revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
- Actionable insights derived from financial analysis.
- Implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 9-10 years of experience in accounting leadership roles, preferably within the retail and distribution sector.
- Strong background in managing diverse accounting functions.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- The ideal candidate should possess either a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) certification.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in accounting.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners.
