Trade Merchandising Manager

 Job Description:

We are partnering with a prominent F&B Manufacturer in KSA. They are looking for a Proficient Trade Merchandising Manager to join their office in Riyadh and oversee and implement merchandising strategies and plans that support the sales team in achieving or exceeding annual sales objectives, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and enhancing in-store visibility and space utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of department policies, procedures, and controls covering all areas of the merchandising department activities.
  • Translate the company's strategy into operational business plans for merchandising.
  • Lead the performance and execution of those plans to achieve functional objectives and deliver the company's overall strategy.
  • Monitor and control the merchandising budget to ensure optimum utilization of resources in the region.
  • Align and implement merchandising plans to support the sales teams in achieving or exceeding the annual sales objectives for the region.
  • Direct the activities of the sales operations team to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently and in line with strategic project management plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure the implementation of planograms and other merchandising tactics to achieve corporate in-store visibility and full space utilization as per agreed KPIs.
  • Develop work plans and schedules for allocating work to merchandisers in various cities to get optimum utilization of the available resources.
  • Continuously monitor and assess the performance of merchandising activities and initiatives, making necessary adjustments to ensure alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and supply chain teams, to ensure cohesive and effective merchandising strategies.
  • Ensure the ongoing training and development of the merchandising team to maintain high standards of performance and adaptability to changing market conditions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in trade merchandising or a related field
  • Minimum if 2 years managerial experience in a related field.
  • Experience in Food & Beverage Manufacturing industry is a Must.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
