Our client is a premier event management company based in Riyadh. Their services include planning and organizing exhibitions, Gala dinners, conferences, summits, corporate events, fund raisers, product launches, networking events and festivals. They are seeking a talented and creative Content Writer with a journalism background to join their team in Riyadh.
Job Brief:
As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies, conducting in-depth research, and crafting compelling written materials. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality content that aligns with our brand's objectives and resonates with our target audience. This position does not involve social media and blog management but emphasizes strategic planning, research, and content development.
Responsibilities:
Content Strategy Development:
- Develop a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company's marketing and business objectives.
- Identify content themes, topics, and formats that resonate with the target audience.
- Plan and organize the content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content.
Content Research and Development:
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, market insights, and audience preferences.
- Create high-quality, informative, and engaging content pieces based on research findings.
- Craft compelling narratives that align with the brand's voice and values.
SEO Optimization (Content-related):
- Collaborate with the SEO team to incorporate relevant keywords and optimize content for search engines.
- Ensure that the content follows best practices for on-page SEO.
Content Distribution Strategy:
- Work with the marketing team to strategize the distribution of content across various channels (excluding social media).
- Identify suitable platforms and outlets for content promotion and dissemination.
Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze content performance using relevant metrics and tools.
- Identify successful content strategies and areas for improvement.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize future content development.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Integration:
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to align content with broader campaigns and initiatives.
- Integrate content into email marketing, lead generation, and other marketing activities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Timeliness and consistency of content delivery according to the content calendar.
- Content Engagement Metrics:
- Audience engagement metrics such as time spent on page, scroll depth, and bounce rates.
- Increase in organic traffic and website visits resulting from content efforts.
- Improvement in content-related keyword rankings in search engine results.
- Measurement of how content contributes to lead generation and conversion.
- Evaluation of the content's return on investment based on performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Content Creator, Content Strategist, or similar role.
- Excellent research and writing skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Strong understanding of content marketing principles and strategies.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices for content creation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset and proficiency in using data to inform content decisions.
