Event Project Manager
Job Description:
Important Note: This is a freelance requirement for a limited contract period.
Our client is a marketing communication group with regional and local expertise in all aspects of Marketing Communications, Public Relations, Event Management, Social Media, and Public Speaking.
They are looking for a Project Manager to join their team in Riyadh and contribute to the delivery and execution of various event projects.
Main Responsibilities:
As an Event Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of event projects, from concept development to post-event evaluation. Your role will involve close collaboration with clients, meticulous planning, and managing cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of events. Your expertise will be key in enhancing client satisfaction and engagement, making a significant impact on the event landscape.
1- Project Oversight:
- Oversee all phases of assigned event projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets that align with organizational goals and client expectations.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including vendors, venues, and internal stakeholders, to execute events seamlessly.
2- Client Collaboration:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives, providing clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their vision is realized and expectations are exceeded.
3- Vendor and Venue Management:
- Source and secure vendors, venues, and equipment, negotiating contracts to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage relationships with external partners, ensuring timely and high-quality event delivery.
4- Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify and manage project risks proactively, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Ensure all events comply with local regulations and industry standards, maintaining safety and legal compliance.
5- Team Leadership:
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering professional growth and ensuring a high-performing team.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative working environment, encouraging innovation and excellence in event execution.
6- Logistics Management:
- Oversee all logistical aspects of events, ensuring smooth execution from setup to breakdown.
- Monitor event progress and address any issues that arise, ensuring a flawless event experience.
7- Post-Event Evaluation:
- Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback from clients and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide detailed reports on event performance, including financial summaries and lessons learned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Event Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in event or project management, with a focus on large-scale events.
- Strong understanding of the Saudi event industry, including trends and regulations.
- Must be an Arabic speaker with fluency in English.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management tools and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
