Human Resources Director

 Job Description:

Our client is a well-established food manufacturing company with a diversified product portfolio. They are looking to hire a well-experienced Human Resources Director to guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the entire company.

Main Objectives:

1. Department Leadership:

  • Develop and lead the department's goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Establish departmental measurements to track progress towards company goals.
  • Conduct ongoing research to keep management informed of new HR trends and developments.
  • Address hiring needs and embed them into annual budget planning.

2. HR Programs and Operations:

  • Oversee HR program execution, identify improvement areas, and leverage technology.
  • Guide HR staff, consultants & specialists to achieve company goals.
  • Develop and manage HR information on the company website and intranet.

3. Training and Development:

  • Lead the implementation of the performance management systems.
  • Conduct assessments to detect gaps, weaknesses, and areas of improvement.
  • Establish an in-house training system for any identified needs.

4. Recruitment and Employment:

  • Set and lead the standard recruiting and hiring practices to attract top talent.
  • Responsible for the selection of agencies, partners, or consultancies for any outsourced needs.
  • Oversee the interviewing and selection process for management and executive positions.

5. Employee Relations:

  • Formulate and recommend HR policies and objectives for employee relations.
  • Investigate employee complaints and concerns and foster a positive work environment.
  • Advise managers on progressive discipline and performance improvement processes.
  • Review and approve management recommendations for terminations.

6. Compensation and Benefits:

  • Establish and manage the company's salary structure, pay policies, and variable pay systems.
  • Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation practices.
  • Recommend changes to benefit programs to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Bachelor or Higher Education in Human Resources or related field.
  • 10+ years of Leadership Experience in the HR Field.
  • Familiar with ERP Systems (SAP Success Factors is a PLUS).
  • Experience in the Food Industry is a PLUS.
  • Specialized Training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, is a PLUS.
