Data Engineer (Power Bi)

Position: Data Engineer | Power BI

Location: Onsite (Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad)

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer (Power BI) to join our team and play a key role in building efficient, scalable, and insightful data solutions. The ideal candidate will be experienced in developing Power BI dashboards, optimizing data models, and working with SQL and data warehousing concepts. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable analytics and reporting outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end Data Engineering and Analytics solutions.

• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, data models, and visualizations to support business decision-making.

• Evaluate, troubleshoot, and optimize existing BI systems and data pipelines.

• Perform data validation, quality checks, and ensure accuracy of reports delivered to stakeholders.

• Work closely with business teams to identify reporting needs, streamline data workflows, and improve overall reporting efficiency.

• Continuously explore opportunities to automate, optimize, and improve BI processes.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including report/dashboard development and data modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write optimized queries and handle large data sets.
• Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, including OLTP and OLAP.
• Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques (data models & queries).
• Experience with Azure Data Services and/or Microsoft Fabric is a strong plus.
• Working knowledge of Python and/or R is an advantage.
• Basic aptitude and interest in data analytics and BI best practices.
• Must be a quick learner, self-driven, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
