Trainee Functional Consultant - NetSuite

At Folio3, the Trainee Functional Consultant will be part of the NetSuite division, receiving structured technical training and hands-on exposure to real-world ERP implementations. This role is designed for fresh graduates who are eager to build a career in ERP consulting, gain client-facing experience, and develop a strong foundation in NetSuite functional domains.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn enterprise systems while working closely with experienced consultants and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in analyzing customers' business requirements, processes, and objectives to help design effective solutions within NetSuite ERP.
• Support the preparation of solution designs and perform gap analysis for business requirements not covered by standard NetSuite functionality.
• Help draft functional specifications for identified gaps requiring customization by the technical team.
• Assist in conducting process walkthrough and solution demonstration workshops for customers.
• Support the development of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios, guide customers during UAT execution, and assist in resolving reported issues.
• Contribute to the development of data migration strategies, templates, and validation processes.
• Assist in overseeing data upload activities into NetSuite ERP and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Support smooth and timely cutover and go-live activities by addressing risks identified during data migration and earlier implementation phases.
• Provide post-go-live support, including issue triage, user guidance, and documentation.
• Assist senior consultants in identifying opportunities for additional support or enhancement services.

Requirements:

• ACCA affiliate or finalist.
• Strong interest in ERP systems and enterprise business processes.
• Prior exposure to ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a structured, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced consulting environment.
