Ground Operations Officer

Fly2Sky Airlines is looking for a Ground Operations Officer to join our Ground Operations team.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring ground handling and cargo operations across the Fly2Sky network, ensuring that all activities are performed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures and applicable requirements.

You will oversee the performance of external ground handling and cargo service providers, support operational safety and compliance activities, and contribute to maintaining on-time performance, operational regularity and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor ground handling and cargo operations across the Fly2Sky network
• Monitor the performance and service quality of external ground handling, cargo and dangerous goods service providers
• Ensure external service providers are kept up to date with Fly2Sky operational procedures and applicable requirements
• Ensure outsourced operational services are supported by appropriate agreements and meet required safety and security standards
• Supervise aircraft and cargo handling processes and identify potential operational or safety issues
• Support Safety & Compliance activities related to ground and cargo operations
• Participate in investigations related to ground handling and cargo operations
• Assess operational risks related to aircraft servicing and cargo handling and support the implementation of corrective actions
• Monitor key operational indicators, including safety, on-time performance and operational regularity
• Coordinate and monitor operational supplies, catering equipment and inventory when required
• Ensure effective management and monitoring of ULD stock
• Ensure ground handling and cargo activities are performed safely, securely and within the required operational timelines
• Audit and inspections when necessary

Requirements

• Education: higher
• Previous Aviation experience
• Fluency in English — advanced level
• Additional foreign languages are a
• Computer literacy
• At least 2 years relevant experience in Ground Handling
• DG certificate and all basic trainings relevant to the role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good coordination and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a team and coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Flexible and confident approach to changing operational requirements
• Positive and proactive attitude towards change and continuous improvement
