Location: Valletta, Malta

For our continuous growth, we are currently looking for a OCC Manager.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Liaise with regulatory authorities including CAA of Bulgaria, original equipment manufacturers and other operationally relevant external entities
• Make decisions that affect the safety and/or security of aircraft operations
• Provide the strategic, administrative, and operational leadership and authority for the functions of Flight Dispatch and Duty Managers
• Monitor and evaluate matters relating to the execution of the daily traffic program, including normal, abnormal and emergency situations
• Ensure monitoring of flights within the network for potential threats or risks
• Facilitate communication and information to company departments and to external sources
• Prepare and monitor procedures and processes to cover all Duty Managers and Flight Dispatch aspects
• Identify process implementation and procedure change needs
• Supervise and coordinate Duty Managers and Flight Dispatchers daily work
• Maintain training and professional couching for new and permanent OCC staff according to prior established and individually adapted training program

Qualifications and skills needed for the position:

• College or University Degree
• ICAO English level 4 or higher
• ICAO or FAA Flight Dispatcher License
• At least 3 years of experience of leadership role in one of an airlines Flight Operations department;
• Successfully Passed the people management skill test
