Production Planning Engineer

MX Technic is looking for a Production Planning Engineer to join our aviation team and support line maintenance operations across multiple stations.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance production activities to ensure efficient execution of scheduled and unscheduled tasks, optimize resource allocation and support aircraft operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage daily and weekly production plans for line maintenance activities across all stations
• Coordinate maintenance scheduling with MCC, CAMO Planning and Logistics to ensure availability of materials, tooling and manpower
• Monitor work progress and adjust production plans to support unscheduled findings, AOG situations and operational constraints
• Track and report operational KPIs including task completion rates, turnaround times and deferred defects
• Ensure maintenance work packages are prepared with approved documentation, tooling requirements and material availability prior to execution
• Liaise with certifying staff and operational teams to prioritize maintenance activities and resolve planning conflicts
• Report maintenance progress and assigned work scope to customers and Line Maintenance Management
• Coordinate DFP delivery in line with agreed turnaround requirements
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce aircraft ground time
• Maintain production records and provide regular operational reports

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Management or related technical discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in aviation maintenance planning, production coordination or similar role
• Good understanding of EASA Part-145 maintenance processes and documentation requirements
• Experience working with MRO planning systems (AMOS or equivalent)
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
