About the job CAMO Compliance Monitoring Auditor & Safety Officer
In this role, you will monitor CAMO activities to ensure compliance with applicable EASA requirements, company policies and procedures.
The position combines responsibilities within both the Compliance Monitoring System and the Safety Management System, contributing to the continuing airworthiness, safety and reliability of the airline's fleet and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor CAMO activities and processes to ensure compliance with EASA Part-CAMO, Part-M and other applicable regulatory requirements
- Plan, conduct and document compliance monitoring audits and inspections within the CAMO area
- Identify non-compliances and findings and follow up on the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions
- Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures and approved manuals
- Support the continuous development and improvement of the Compliance Monitoring System
- Participate in Safety Management System activities, including hazard identification, risk assessments and safety investigations
- Monitor safety-related occurrences, trends and potential risks within CAMO activities
- Prepare audit reports, compliance records and safety-related documentation
- Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions resulting from audits, investigations and risk assessments
- Liaise with CAMO personnel and other departments on compliance and safety matters
- Support preparations for regulatory and external audits and assist in addressing related findings
- Promote a strong compliance and safety culture across the organization
Requirements:
- University degree in Aviation, Engineering or another relevant technical discipline
- Previous experience in CAMO, Compliance Monitoring, Quality, Safety or a related aviation environment
- Good knowledge of EASA continuing airworthiness requirements, including Part-CAMO and Part-M
- Understanding of Compliance Monitoring and Safety Management System principles
- Experience in aviation auditing, compliance monitoring or safety activities is considered an advantage
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to identify compliance and safety risks and follow actions through to effective resolution
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Good organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
