The Crew Control Officer is responsible for providing and maintaining oversight of the proper allocation and utilization of Fly2Sky Airlines crew members during daily and short-term operations. The role requires proactive management, effective communication, and coordination to ensure seamless operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

The Crew Controller is responsible for:

  • Ensuring adequate crewing of all Fly2Sky Airlines flights taking place within the operational window.
  • Forward planning and proactive management of possible long-term disruptions to daily crewing activities (e.g., industrial actions, planned maintenance activities, or lengthy AOGs).
  • Continuous tracking, monitoring, and modification of the cockpit and cabin crew rosters during day-to-day operations and up to 72 hours in advance.
  • Maintaining continuous cooperation with the Duty Manager of Operations.
  • Providing adequate crew members on the day of operation in case of any crew shortage (e.g., sickness, flight insertion, delays).
  • Notifying crew members of roster changes and calling and communicating directly with crew as and when required.
  • Monitoring crew on-time check-in for flights and other duties.
  • Continuously checking duty and flight time limitations (daily, weekly, calendar monthly, calendar quarterly, and calendar yearly).
  • Coordinating with the Training Department representatives & Crew Training Planning for rostering principles and training requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations such as duty and flight time limitations and Fatigue Risk Management
  • Managing crew logistics, including travel arrangements and accommodation - Ensuring roster fatigue and wellbeing
  • Leading process and system improvements, overseeing the HP bidding and Roster Preferences module

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma; University Diploma is an advantage
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience in the aviation industry
