Role Overview:
The CAMO Maintenance/Forecast Planner is Responsible for ensuring that airline's fleet all aircraft under the airlines management are is timely maintained in accordance with the Approved Maintenance Program (AMP) regulatory requirements and relevant airline company policies. The planner will use OASES (Open Aviation Strategic Engineering System) to manage and forecast maintenance activities, ensuring the continuous airworthiness of the fleet. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in a CAMO environment, the candidate is expected to be highly proficient in forecasting, planning, and managing the maintenance schedules of an airline's fleet., ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and the business specific of the Airline.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance Planning & Forecasting:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive short- and long-term maintenance schedules plans for the airline's fleet by utilizing OASES software. in line with manufacturer requirements, aviation regulations, and company policies.
- Utilize OASES software to generate and manage detailed maintenance forecasts, ensuring timely execution of maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) team to plan accomplishment and schedule both short-term and long-term of the incoming maintenance activities, including scheduled routine checks, major overhauls, component replacements, and or modifications.
- Ensuring timely accomplishment of the scheduled maintenance tasks.
- Monitor and adjust maintenance schedules based on the operational needs and aircraft utilization.
2. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure that all maintenance related planning activities are in compliance comply with applicable aviation regulations ( EASA, BG CAA regulations) and of the airlines AMP approved maintenance program and Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME).
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance planning activities and ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies during audits and inspections, providing necessary documentation and reports.
3. Coordination & Communication:
- Work closely with various departments, including Operations Control Center (OCC), Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Ground Handling, to align maintenance schedules with operational requirements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure that maintenance plans are executed as scheduled, with minimal disruption to flight operations.
- Provide regular updates to the CAMO Manager and senior management on maintenance progress, potential delays, and any issues that may affect aircraft serviceability availability.
4. Data Management & Reporting:
- Input and manage aircraft maintenance data in OASES, ensuring accuracy and integrity of information.
- Generate reports on maintenance status, forecasted activities, and compliance status, providing insights to management for decision-making.
- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for optimization of maintenance processes.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance planning and forecasting processes.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes that may impact maintenance planning.
- Proactively suggest improvements to the maintenance planning process and tools, including OASES system enhancements.
6. Training & Mentorship:
- Provide guidance and training to junior planners and other team members on maintenance planning procedures and use of OASES.
- Share expertise and knowledge to contribute to the professional development of the CAMO team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a CAMO department with a focus on maintenance planning and forecasting.
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in OASES (Open Aviation Strategic Engineering System) is essential.
- Education: A degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of EASA Part-M, FAA regulations, or other relevant aviation maintenance regulations.
- Languages: Fluent in English, both spoken and written (fluency in Bulgarian would also be an advantage).

- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience with other maintenance planning software is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the airline industry's operational dynamics.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Physical & Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work in an office environment with occasional travel as required.
- Ability to work outside regular hours during peak operational periods or emergencies.
