About the job Compliance Auditor Part 145
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Compliance Monitoring Auditor to join our Part-145 organization. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with EASA regulations, supporting continuous improvement, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality in our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and oversee the implementation of the Compliance Monitoring Program, reporting directly to the Compliance Monitoring Manager (Part-145)
- Support the development, implementation, and revision of the Compliance Monitoring Manual, ensuring alignment with updated regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices
- Ensure that all regulatory responsibilities are fulfilled in accordance with the Compliance Monitoring Program and applicable EASA regulations
- Conduct internal audits, follow up on findings, analyze trends, and report results
- Initiate and coordinate corrective actions, monitor their effectiveness, and provide feedback to the Compliance Monitoring Manager
- Promote a strong culture of quality and safety awareness throughout the organization during audits and monitoring activities
Required Experience and Qualifications
Essential:
- A degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related technical discipline
- EASA Part-145 regulatory training or relevant equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in the aviation maintenance industry
- Proven experience conducting internal audits in line with EASA regulations
- Familiarity with MOE, CAMO, and Safety Management Systems (SMS)
- Strong knowledge of EASA Part-145 and related regulatory frameworks
- Understanding of Human Factors and Safety Management System principles
Skills and Attributes
- Excellent analytical and attention-to-detail skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are an asset)
- High level of integrity and objectivity when performing audits
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
- Eligibility to work in the EU
- Willingness to travel occasionally for audit activities (if required)
Considered an Advantage
- Completed formal training in aviation quality/safety auditing (ISO 19011 or equivalent)
- Familiarity with Centrik or other compliance/quality management systems
