About the job Senior HR Specialist
Avora Aviation Academy is looking for an experienced and highly organized Senior HR Specialist to join our team and support the effective delivery of HR operations across the Group.
The role combines HR administration, labor law compliance, employee relations, payroll coordination and HR process improvement within a dynamic and international aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full range of employment documentation, including employment contracts, annexes, amendments, termination documents, business trip orders, certificates and official HR correspondence
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with applicable labor legislation
- Monitor compliance with local labor requirements across the jurisdictions in which the Group operates
- Coordinate employee lifecycle processes, including promotions, transfers, salary adjustments and terminations
- Coordinate payroll inputs and ensure the accuracy of employee master data in cooperation with Finance
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits, leave and compensation-related processes
- Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding labor law, company policies and internal HR procedures
- Support employee relations, disciplinary processes, workplace investigations and conflict resolution
- Ensure HR practices comply with labor legislation, occupational health and safety requirements, aviation regulations and internal compliance standards
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate HR documentation and records
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of HR policies,
procedures and operational processes - Monitor key HR metrics and prepare HR reports and people analytics
- Support workforce planning, headcount planning and HR budgeting activities
- Maintain HRIS data quality, governance and access control
Support other HR and corporate functions when required
Requirements:
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or another relevant field
- Solid professional experience in HR operations, HR administration or a similar HR role
- Strong knowledge of Bulgarian labor legislation and employment practices
- Experience with employment documentation, payroll coordination and employee lifecycle processes
- Experience in employee relations and handling labor-related cases
- Good knowledge of HR systems and MS Office
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proactive, independent and solution-oriented approach
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Experience in an international or aviation environment will be considered an advantage
