About the job Crew Planning Officer
Crew Planning builds and maintains compliant flight-deck and cabin-crew rosters across the medium- and long-term planning horizon. You'll make sure every roster is FTL-compliant before it's published, with training, checking, leave and qualification requirements already built in. Your output feeds Crew Control, who take over real-time management inside the 0–72-hour window.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain compliant crew rosters within the defined planning horizons, in line with the Operations Manual Part A
- Integrate operational schedules, recurrent training and checking events, and annual leave into the planning cycle before rosters are issued
- Verify FTL compliance on every roster prior to publication and run forward FTL modelling to flag compliance risks before they reach the operational window
- Maintain accurate crew qualification, availability and base data in Leon.

- Support manpower forecasting and analytical reporting
- Monitor roster disruptions on a monthly basis to reduce future disruption
- Ensure roster traceability for audit purposes, and ensure a complete, precise information flow between shifts and departments
- Report any non-conformity to the Direct Manager
- Assist with other Crew Planning duties as required by the Direct Manager
Authority and limits
- Authorized to prepare and propose roster adjustments within planning scope and policy limits
- No authority to dispatch or cancel a flight, and no influence over in-flight operational decisions. Real-time roster management sits with Crew Control
- Reports to, and escalates to, the Direct Manager
