Summary
We are looking for a Software Developer to join our MIS department, with a primary focus on the design, development, and support of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to deliver solutions that meet business requirements and drive operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full software development lifecycle — from requirements gathering and design through to testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Develop and maintain RPA solutions as well as custom applications using a variety of languages and technologies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to document requirements and obtain sign-off prior to development.
- Design algorithms, flowcharts, and architecture to support scalable, efficient solutions.
- Write clean, well-documented code and participate in peer code reviews.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously improve existing applications.
- Gather and assess user feedback to enhance software performance.
- Produce technical documentation to support troubleshooting and future development.
- Provide user support and software training to build strong business relationships.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and brainstorming sessions.
- Provide occasional off-hours support as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in software development across multiple projects and technologies.
- Hands-on experience with RPA development, particularly UiPath.
- Strong programming skills in C#, Visual Basic, and JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of databases including MS SQL and MySQL.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office.
- Strong grasp of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles.
- Experience writing unit tests for code components and full applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to develop creative solutions to complex business challenges.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Eagerness to learn new languages, frameworks, and techniques quickly.
