Job Summary: The Procurement Service Office (PSO) Specialist will support the Procurement Project Managers (PPM) by handling all procurement-related administrative tasks and managing the source-to-contract process. The PSO Specialist will also be responsible for building reports for the procurement organization, ensuring data quality in the procurement plan tool, capturing savings, creating training materials for various procurement tasks, and identifying opportunities to implement AI in our processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support: Assist PPMs with procurement-related administrative tasks to ensure smooth project execution (i.e. Due diligence, financial verification, completion of POs)
Source to Contract Management: Oversee the source-to-contract process, assist with proposal analysis and ensure compliance and efficiency.
Reporting: Develop and maintain reports for the procurement organization to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Data Quality: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within the procurement plan tool.
Savings Capture: Monitor and document savings
Training Development: Create and deliver training materials for various procurement-related tasks.
AI Implementation: Identify and propose opportunities to integrate AI into procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement or a related administrative role.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
Excellent communication and training skills.
Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Familiarity with AI applications in procurement is a plus.
Skills:
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Autonomous, be a self-starter and have a problem-solving mindset;
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Proficiency in power query, power bi and power platform is considered an asset
