The Role: Consecutive Interpretation

In this position, you will facilitate professional communication by interpreting speech after the speaker pauses. Your role is essential in ensuring accuracy, cultural nuance, and clarity in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consecutive Interpretation: Provide accurate real-time interpretation during pauses in professional, medical, or legal settings.
• Accuracy & Neutrality: Relay messages faithfully without adding, omitting, or changing the meaning.
• Confidentiality: Adhere to strict ethical standards and data protection protocols.
• Terminological Precision: Handle specialized vocabulary with a high degree of accuracy.

Requirements:

• Language Proficiency: C1/C2 level in both Ukrainian and English.
• Location: Must be based in Portugal.
• Eligibility: EU Citizenship or a valid Portuguese Work Permit is mandatory.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional listening, memory retention, and note-taking skills for consecutive work.
