The Senior Sales Executive is a key member of the Companies SCF origination team. This role is responsible for sourcing new revenue opportunities and enabling seamless coordination of key stakeholders, including Risk, Legal, Operations and Product Management.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Sales Executive to work within our sales organization to help us to scale to the next level. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, possess outstanding structuring and origination skills in the working capital space and impeccable work ethic. The candidate will have a strong team orientation and excellent communications skills.
- Source opportunities to create a pipeline of new leads with the goal to drive revenue generation with focused on medium-sized corporations need for working capital improvements and liquidity.
- Work with Supplier Onboarding and Marketing to successfully rollout the program and maximize supplier adoption.
- Work collaboratively with Legal, Risk, Operations and Product Management to convert leads to revenue-generating SCF programs
- Provide ongoing buyer program reviews to identify new opportunities and expand the scope of the SCF program.
- Work with the firms Distribution desk to facilitate profitable distribution of assets to Participants.
- Maintain sales progress in CRM Salesforce.
- Develop a robust outreach and opportunity plan for assigned sales responsibilities.
- Develop effective sales strategies based on solution-based selling aligned with the firms product offerings.
- Manage sales communications to advance business objectives and increase engagement.
- Work to minimize opportunity risk while maximizing client satisfaction and returns to the firm.
- Work cooperatively with the firms resources to promote a best-in-class client experience.
- Understand industry trends as well as customer needs and requirements.
- Continually learn about our product and our industry.
- Manage relevant sales metrics and reporting, data research, and data review.
- Assist in the development of the sales plan. Prepare forecasts and KPI reporting for sales leadership and senior management team for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning.
- Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Economics, MBA, or relevant job experience.
- Five to ten years of experience in structuring and selling complex working capital, traditional corporate finance, trade finance, or factoring solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Comfortable in front of C-Suite audience.
- Proven sales, relationship building and business development skills.
- Strong understanding of the credit and the legal documentation process.
- Desire and ability to take initiative and excel in a fast-paced start-up style work environment.
- Organized, efficient, ability to prioritize and multi-task based on urgency of business needs.
