Position Details Job Title: Vice President, Originations Location: New York, NY Position Overview Company Trade Finance seeks a structured finance professional to join a high growth supply chain and working capital platform. Collaborating with senior leadership the VP will drive the deal process from structuring to the execution for an expanding pipeline of clients. The position requires a credit background and experience structuring a wide variety of deals to include Accounts Receivable Finance and Supply Chain Finance or Asset Based Lending. Exposure to Inventory Finance is highly valued. As part of a tight knit, well-positioned working capital financing business, the successful candidate will be a team-oriented self-starter, who is polished and efficient when communicating at all levels (internally and externally). Primary Responsibilities

Passionately seek to understand the needs of each prospective enterprise client.

Understand the characteristics of Company's product offerings, (from the perspective of the client and the Company) to facilitate the development of bespoke working capital solutions.

Take ownership and support Senior leadership in the origination process by managing all necessary tasks to facilitate transactions once clients are sourced.

Review information submitted by clients, use pricing models, conduct financial analysis and propose financing scenarios. Develop workable finance structures by assessing the viability of proposed transactions.

Summarize and analyze data and gather additional information from clients as required.

Draft comprehensive credit memos, including risk assessments and recommendations.

Collaborate with the credit team to ensure accurate and thorough credit analysis.

Prepare presentations on transaction structures, including key considerations and explanations of structures. Effectively communicate information through slide decks and other forms of written communication ensuring programs are delivered in a way that excites and exceeds client objectives.

Serve as an internal liaison, collaborating with various teams and departments to ensure smooth transaction execution.

Participate in the development of internal workflows by providing context from a client facing perspective to reduce risk and simplifying processes. Qualification and Experience (Academic, Professional, Relevant Job Knowledge)

Minimum of 5-7 years experience working within trade finance, commodity finance, structured finance or similar exposure to receivables finance and asset-based lending. Inventory finance exposure highly valued.

Experience creating excellent presentation materials

Strong credit background

Financial modeling and experience developing comprehensive reports

Client facing experience is preferred

Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills

Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

Ability to work autonomously, identify, and solve problems and escalate issues where appropriate
