About the job Associate Director Trade Asset Distribution
Job Purpose and Impact The Associate Director, Risk Investor Group will develop and cultivate new and existing investor relationships. In this role, you will apply substantial knowledge and experience of trade finance to ensure the successful distribution of trade finance transactions generated by the trade and capital markets group. You will also generate innovative ideas to provide new product strategies development.
Key Accountabilities Develop new complex investors relationship, following up leads from the market, industry-based intelligence and market knowledge to identify, onboard and transact with new investors for trade and capital markets group. Partner with existing investors to obtain deep insights into investment criteria to further enhance investor relationships. Collaborate with the Risk Investor Group to optimize investor capacity and allocation of assets across geographies and investor pools. Apply market insights to develop new complex or enhance existing trade and capital markets products to meet investor requirements. Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience Minimum of four years of related work experience Working experience with trade finance or banking market and product Fluent in Spanish Ability to travel in Latin America and within the U.S Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the insurance industry, including policy wording and methods of distributing insured transactions to investors Confirmed working experience with corporate and financial institution financial statements analysis.
