Job Description:

Purpose:
The Production Deck Operator is responsible for various tasks related to the preparation and processing of production batches under the guidance of the Deck Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare packaging materials for production batches.
  • Add dry and solvent materials to production batches as required.
  • Sample materials and deliver them to the lab for testing.
  • Accurately fill containers to the specified weights as indicated on batch tickets.
  • Create and affix appropriate labels to packaging containers.
  • Move finished products to the warehouse (FG1 location).
  • Complete applicable sections of batch sheets.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the deck tank area.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the Deck Lead.

Qualifications:

  • Operators in this role may range from "A" to "C" status based on knowledge of job functions, additional plant knowledge, level of cross-training, and job performance.

Specialized Safety Training:

  • Hazardous waste accumulation, labeling, and packaging
  • Forklift training
  • Line break training

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
