We are seeking a Project Manager with a proven track record in successfully delivering complex IT projects. This role involves managing all phases of project lifecycles to ensure objectives are achieved while adhering to established budgets, schedules, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in both traditional and modern project management methodologies (e.g., waterfall, agile, and hybrid).

This is a 6 month contract with possibility to extend up to 24 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with all project stakeholders, including internal teams, consultants, and external partners.
  • Risk Management: Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks while ensuring opportunities are maximized.
  • Procurement Management: Oversee procurement processes, including defining project requirements, supporting tendering processes, and managing contracts.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Deliver regular updates on project progress, including financial tracking, schedule adherence, and performance metrics.
  • Project Closeout: Coordinate project handoffs, training, and documentation to ensure smooth transitions to operational teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years managing IT projects, preferably in the public sector, with a proven ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Certifications: PMP Certification or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification required.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in project lifecycles, resource allocation, cost estimation, and schedule planning.
    • Strong business case development and facilitation skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
