Business Analyst Digital Health Transformation

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team and support Digital Health, a Shared Health service, in facilitating healthcare delivery transformation through the use of information and communication technology (ICT). This role is crucial in driving operational service improvements across the provincial health sector by providing data-driven insights, facilitating stakeholder workshops, and supporting large-scale business transformation initiatives.
As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with executive leadership and key stakeholders to develop future-state models, conduct gap analyses, and create transition plans that align with organizational goals. You will play a key role in supporting service redesign efforts, ensuring that the transformation is smooth and aligned with best practices in healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business analysis activities to develop operational service delivery models and present findings to leadership teams.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to gather input, perform gap analyses, and design future-state business models.
- Manage and mentor business analysts to ensure the quality and accuracy of work, including business case development, financial modeling, and organizational design.
- Collaborate with healthcare service teams to identify and address gaps in service delivery, driving improvements in patient care and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement change management strategies to support large-scale healthcare transformations.
- Partner with technical and clinical teams to support Allscripts EPR and Chart Tracking Application implementations.
- Conduct strategic-level analysis and service redesign in healthcare environments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in business analysis, including developing operational service delivery models and synthesizing findings for leadership decision-making.
- 5+ years of experience leading business analysts or consultants in large-scale transformation programs.
- 5+ years of experience facilitating workshops and collaborating with executive leadership on business architecture and transition planning.
- 5+ years of experience in change management within healthcare environments, specifically related to EPR and Chart Tracking implementations.
- Proven experience in developing business cases, financial modeling, and value stream mapping.
- Demonstrated ability to drive organizational capability redesign and obtain executive buy-in.
- Strong understanding of healthcare service delivery models and operational improvements.
Certifications Required:
- PROSCI Organizational Change Management Certification (or equivalent).
- ITIL Service Management Certification.
- Prince2 Foundation or Practitioner Certification.
