About the job Threat Analyst
Our client is a cybersecurity consulting firm with numerous breach contracts with different corporations. They are looking to add a resource on an " as needed project " basis for upcoming projects. These resources are commonly known as Ethical Hackers or Threat Hunters with Dark Web experience in the marketplace.
This person will be available with short notice to work on new breach contracts. The work entails threat hunting, tactics, techniques and procedures (known as TTP) and each contract is 4 days worth of work, spread out over 14 days, which includes short virtual meetings with end clients 2-3 times over this period for each contract. This resource will have strong experience with the "Dark Web" and has experience with Ransomware negotiation with Threat Actors (The hackers who attack the end client's systems/applications).
This resource needs to make themselves available to engage on a breach contract with short notice, and commit to completing the work. They can have fulltime jobs, etc, but must be able to do the project work described above. They should know and work with th industry tools out there and have their own infrastructure
Key Skills:
10 years experience with Ethical Hacking/Threat Hunting in the Dark Web Threat Hunting-MUST HAVE
Threat hunting, tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP)-MUST HAVE
Experience with Ransomware Negotiation with Threat Actors-NICE TO HAVE
Must have reside lived in Canada for the last 5 years to be eligible to obtain Federal Clearance
