We seek a visionary, dynamic, go-getter, and ambitious leader, who will lead the business in growing the clientele base, matched with the growing gigger jobs.

Position Title: General Manager (FlexiGIG-Kenya)

Summary:

In this role, you will build and lead the team to acquire clients, building value for them through ensuring the successful execution of creative solutions through our tech platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong marketing and or sales background, excellent leadership skills, and a knack for building and maintaining client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for driving growth and profitability for own business unit.
  • Work closely with the executive team for alignment with overall business strategy and goals.
  • Lead in the acquisition and overseeing of clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and driving client satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services to clients.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Building a strong and motivated team to grow our clients brands as well as the giggers.
  • Lead, motivate, and collaborate with internal support teams, including giggers(freelancers), technology teams, and operations teams to effectively deliver creative solutions that address clients brand and business challenges.
  • Abreast on all performance reports by team, recommending rewarding, preventing as well as solving issues arising.
  • Design strategies to enhance relationships with the giggers and motivate them to deliver sterling performance for the clients.
  • Lead in reviewing the companys financial performance, and recommending action.
  • Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated and followed at all times.
  • Ensure trust relationships exist with shareholders, business partners, and authorities.
  • Constantly reviewing the business, and analyzing the information to generate insights, to leverage clients and team growth.
  • You are the chief public relations representative of the company, strengthening its profile.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in marketing services, client management, and or portfolio management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and implementing successful strategies.
  • Experience working in a tech-driven environment and familiarity with digital marketing platforms is a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the company
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
