About the Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of forklifts and other material handling equipment. Your primary focus will be ensuring the efficient operation of our client's state-of-the-art machinery. This role requires a hands-on approach, technical expertise, and the ability to provide exceptional on-site support to clients. A van will be provided for your daily duties.

Working Hours

This is a full-time role, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. No weekend work is required, ensuring you maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Duties

  • Perform maintenance, repair, and servicing of forklifts and material handling equipment on-site.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Provide expert advice and support to clients on-site.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work carried out and communicate findings to the office.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, specifically with forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Strong technical skills with a thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Full UK driving licence
